The Allianz UMANA MENTE foundation was established in 2001 as the main expression of Allianz S.p.A.'s social responsibility and has the objective of helping people most in need by offering them the prospect of a better life.

The Foundation was created from the belief that the traditional attention and sensitivity of the founding partner Allianz S.p.A. for the structures engaged in social work would be more effective through an organic initiative that is autonomous with respect to the other Group activities and has specific guidelines and scheduled action plans.

The Foundation works in the area of social welfare and focuses its attention on two categories of beneficiaries: minors and young people in need and people with disabilities.

The Allianz UMANA MENTE Foundation is the representative in Italy for the Global Network of Allianz Foundations that unites all foundations of the insurance-financial Group worldwide.
